Making Money Online Isn’t All That Difficult

November 30, 2007 · Filed Under Uncategorized · 4 Comments

Everyone in the world wants to make money. How else are you going to live? And the easier it is to get that money, the better!

I have been making money online for years. I’ve built home business websites that make me a lot of money each year, I’m considered a super affiliate, I get checks from Google Adsense every month, advertisers are lining up to pay me for space on my sites, my blog ranks among the top money makers online, and I never have a problem building a large network marketing downline. Basically what I am trying to say is that my online home business is very profitable and I pretty much write my own checks.

However, I am not telling you this to boost my own ego. Exactly the opposite really. It wasn’t easy getting to where I am now, not even close, and I wouldn’t wish the path I had to take on my worst enemy. I want you to know that I endured years of failures, scams, schemes, and losses before I ever got to where I am now. But I made it. And you can too! That’s why you should listen to what I am about to tell you…

I started my online business years ago when there weren’t nearly as many money making systems and home business programs available. In fact, there were hardly any at that time. I hear people complaining all the time about how hard it is to make money online these days. But the reality is that this is the easiest time I have ever seen for people to start an online home business. Believe it or not, but you have it easy!

Quite honestly I get asked to review and promote numerous programs, websites, products, and services on a weekly basis. To date I would guess I have had at least 1000 legitimate requests from people to take a look at their businesses and thousands more from everybody and their dog.

So many things come across my desk each day that it is impossible for me to look at everything and those that I do check out rarely ever live up to my high standards. But every so often something does. Even when they do I still don’t have the time to recommend them. I only recommend a money making product or service if it is of the highest quality and there is nothing else like it on the internet.

One of the best programs I have ever seen for starting an online home business and making money online is the Honest Income Program. Just looking at the name will tell you all you really need to know. This program is loaded with true, legitimate, and honest ways to make money online. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this program.

The honest income program does work and as soon as I looked at it I knew it was a diamond in the rough. I am not going to write another 15,000 words explaining to you how great the honest income program is or what is contained in it. I think the website tells you everything you need to know.

I will tell that what the author says is true and his program will work. If you follow it you will make money. There is no doubt about that!

Oh and just to ease your mind a little more, I will assure you that the creator of the honest income program, Steven Wagenheim, is one of the most honest, knowledgeable, sincere, and helpful internet marketers you will ever come across. I have worked closely with him on many projects over the years and all I can say is that he is amazing.

My highest recommendation goes to the Honest Income Program.

Seven Internet Marketing Options for Your Online Home Business

November 22, 2007 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

If you own an online home business then you definitely need to know the most effective internet marketing and promotion options. Below I have outlined seven of the most popular and effective methods of promoting, marketing, and advertising your online home business.

1. Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising

This is one of the most popular and highly effective forms of online business advertising. Basically you pay for rankings on the keywords your target market is searching for. The cost depends on how popular the keyword is and how many people are bidding on it. The more you pay, the higher your ad will appear. Then, when someone searches for any of those keywords, your ad will appear in the results. However, you only pay when someone clicks on your ad. No matter how many times your ad is displayed, you only pay when someone actually clicks on it. This advertising method works very well because you get a targeted visitor on almost every click.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Optimizing your website for high search engine rankings is the most cost effective method of advertising your online home business and it’s also the most long term. But it also takes the longest to get any results, and is never guaranteed. Many people are afraid of SEO because they have heard how difficult it can be. However, it’s not as hard to do as it sounds. It mainly involves getting a lot of quality inbound links, continually updating with relevant content, and effective use of keywords. That’s really all there is to it.

3. Article Marketing

Becoming an “authority” on a subject is one of the best ways to market online. When you are recognized as someone with specialized knowledge and expertise on a subject, you quickly become the person everyone turns to. Most people are searching for information rather than for specific products and services. So, one of the best ways to market your online home business is to publish informational material and become an authority on the subject by doing so.Writing and submitting articles (article marketing) to online article directories and related websites is one of the best ways to do this. Plus, you get inbound links from each article which will help with your SEO discussed above.

4. Online Forums

Forums are an incredible way to build a strong reputation for yourself by helping others and freely giving your knowledge to the world. Find active forums in your online home business niche and start participating in them regularly. It doesn’t take a lot of time, just a few moments to read something another person wrote and comment briefly on it. Enough for them to know that you paid attention to what they wrote and that it inspired a thought in you that you’d like to share. Don’t make the mistake of clogging online forums with advertising though. That’s the quickest way to get banned and ruin your reputation. Instead, you should write meaningful and helpful posts that actually contribute legitimate knowledge. The more you help, the more it comes back to you in a positive way!

5. Blogging

Blogs are great online business marketing tool for many reasons. One of the big benefits of blogs is that they’re frequently update so the search engines love them and so do readers. They can build up a loyal following fairly quickly. Another great benefit of blogging is that people can subscribe to your blog and receive your updated postings in their email inbox, on their own website, or as an RSS feed. Blogs can really bring in some considerable traffic and are a super online money making resource.

6. Running Your Own Affiliate Program

Creating an affiliate program for your product or service is an amazing way to leverage the resources of many people to sell more products and make more money. An army of affiliates can quickly and easily grow your online home business much faster than you could ever do yourself. All you have to do is give them a percentage of the profits and you will have many people helping you build your business. Two of the best affiliate program managers are clickbank.com and paydotcom.com

7. Joint Ventures (JV)

In this method, you set up an arrangement with someone in your niche who already has a large customer base or email list and you tap into each other’s resources, recommending each other’s products or services on your respective websites, lists, blogs, etc… You help each other and both of your online businesses benefit far more than they would have without the JV.

By utilizing the 7 internet marketing methods above you will be able to attract all the targeted traffic you need to build a highly successful online home business!

Creating Your Own Private Label Rights Package

November 15, 2007 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

We went over the power of PLR packages in my last post. Today we are going to walk through the steps of creating your own PLR package from scratch.

Here are the five steps of putting together a PLR package:

1) Think of an idea for the package. For most people, this is the most difficult of all the steps. Most people just have a heck of a time thinking up ideas. One of the easiest ways to do this is to grab a pen and paper and write down your interests. Research each one online and see which ones have a demand on the internet. You can see this by going to Wordtracker and doing a search for the keywords related to your ideas. You’ll then see how many monthly searches there are. Then of course you want to go to the search engines to see what competition you have. In the case of PLR, I don’t tend to worry much about the competition part because I will simply rely on good advertising to get the word of my PLR out.

2) Okay, now you have come up with your idea. Let’s just say you decided to write an ebook series about making money online. You figure there will be about 4 or 5 books in the series. Each one will contain a few methods of making money online and internet marketing. Each book will be maybe 20 to 30 pages long. You decide that a good price point for all the books would be $27.

3) Write your content and put the books together. Then you will also create a sales page for the books in this step. This is the longest and most time consuming of all the steps but it’s also the most important. You can’t put together and sell a PLR package without writing the content and sales letter.

4) After you have the whole product put together for sale, you then work on what I call the actual “PLR” part of the process. You have to sit down and write out each individual right that you are going to include with this package. The reason for that is because if you don’t specify things, people are going to do whatever they want with the package.

So in addition to the actual content books, you will need to put together a book that I call my “How to Sell This Package” book. In it, you’ll give some tips for how to promote the package, including setting up the sales page, advertising and so on. You’ll also include the actual rights that they have with the package.

For the purpose of this example, we’re going to give people these rights.

[NO] Can be given away.
[YES] Can be packaged.
[NO] Can be offered as a bonus.
[YES] Can Be Edited Completely and Your Name Put on it.
[YES] Can be broken down into articles.
[YES] Can be added to paid membership sites
[NO] Can be offered through auction sites.
[YES] Can sell Resale Rights.
[YES] Can sell Master Resale Rights.
[NO] Can sell Private Label Rights.

You must stipulate in your package the rights a person has after buying your Private Label Rights package. If you don’t do this you will lose all control of it and people will do anything and everything with the package.

5) After you have done all of the above steps, the only thing left to do is get your site up online and start promoting it.

It will probably take about a month to put together a good solid PLR package following these steps. If you put a good package together and sell a limited number of rights to a certain amount of people, you should be able sell each package for a fairly high price.

Let’s say in this example, I’ve decided that I’m only going to sell 50 of this PLR package for $197 each. That comes out to a profit of almost $10,000. Even if you sold the package for $97 each, that’s still a nice chunk of change. If you put just one of these packages together per month, this is a yearly income of anywhere from about $60,000 to $120,000.

Like I said, Private Label Rights are extremely powerful and can make you a lot of money. If you’re willing to work very hard to put a PLR package together you can do very well with it. Keep creating them and you will find yourself rolling in the money!

Harnessing the Power of PLR

November 10, 2007 · Filed Under Uncategorized · Comment

I’ve been thinking about writing on the subject of Private Label Rights (PLR) for quite a while but just haven’t found the words to say until now. You might be thinking, “What the heck are private label rights?” Well they are rights to a product package where you can change the contents of it, sell it for whatever you like, add other items to it and so on… Basically you can do whatever you want with a PLR package.

Let me start by saying that people simply don’t realize the awesome power of creating, or even buying a Private Label Rights package. Most PLR packages give you the right to do just about anything you like and most of them come with a sales page and everything else that you might need. PLR packages are an absolute gold mine if you know what to do with them.

A lot of people wonder what the point of buying a PLR package is. If you’re going to go through all the trouble of modifying the package so much, why not just create your own product from scratch? Well, you certainly can do that if you think you can come up with something on your own that will sell. But there a couple of reasons why buying a PLR package may be something that you want to do.

1. It can be very hard to think of ideas. Let’s face it, not everybody has a creative nature and even if you do you will still have to come up with a lot of content for the product. Now, if you find a PLR package being sold for the same idea that you were thinking of putting together then the work has already been done for you.

At the very least you can buy the PLR package and get lots more ideas from it to add to your own. Maybe you don’t completely like what’s in the package. That’s fine; you now have the right to change whatever you don’t like. This goes for the sales page, the content and the rest of the product package.

2. Even if you are an idea machine and can crank them out one after another, buying an established PLR package will still save you a lot of time. Think of all the hours you would spend writing the content, putting it together, and then creating a sales page for it. With a package that you purchased the private label rights for, all that time can be spent on marketing it to make money. And even if you do decide that there are some things you want to change around, you’re still going to save a lot of time by not having to create the product from scratch.

Okay, are we in agreement that in some cases buying a PLR package to create a product is definitely a good thing to do? I certainly hope so!

But what if you create your own PLR package from scratch to sell to others? Well, this is where you can really harness the power of PLR packages! See, with a PLR package that you bought, there are other people out there that have the same package. So the value of it over time is going to diminish quickly, even if you rewrite it.

This is not to say that it won’t also happen with your own PLR package, but the difference is, when it’s yours and brand new, NOBODY else has it. So at the very beginning, you can sell these packages for an awful lot of money. Today, you will see these packages going for $97, $197, $297, $497 or even more. The price of some of these packages is outrageous. And, if you want to make the package even more desirable, simply sell a limited number of them. You can rack up a few thousand dollars into your bank account very quickly by creating and selling your own PLR package.

The things that you can do with your own PLR package are limitless. You created it so you can do whatever you want with it. You are only limited by your imagination. Search the internet and you will find thousands of PLR packages out there. The reason there are so many is because they sell.

So if you have always thought that you don’t need or want to create your own PLR package or even buy somebody else’s, you might want to reconsider your position. Or if you never knew about PLR packages before, you do now and you should certainly think about using them to your advantage. PLR packages are some of the hottest sellers in the internet marketing community. That’s where a crap load of money is being made.

Isn’t it time you cashed in on the PLR revolution?

Basic Elements of a Home Based Business Plan

November 5, 2007 · Filed Under Uncategorized · 6 Comments

To be honest with you, the following tips actually apply to any business - home based, online, or brick and mortar. However, far too many home based entrepreneurs fail to realize the importance of writing a solid business plan for their home based business. Below I have given you some simple questions to answer in order to outline the essential information you need to know in order to start your home based business the right way.

1. What is your business?

Describe as simply as you can, in no more than one or two sentences, what it is that your business aims to do. You’ll be saying these one or two sentences a lot in your new home business, so spend a bit of time getting it right. Fine-tune it as much as you can, and then go back and adjust it as often as needed to keep it current and accurate. If you cannot describe your business in one or two sentences then there’s a good chance your home business idea itself needs some fine-tuning, because the missions and objectives of all successful businesses can be summarized succinctly.

2. Is there high demand for your business?

Simply put, does the public need what you’re offering? How difficult is it going to be to interest your target market in what you’re business is providing? List the reasons why you think people need what you’re offering; especially if it’s something similar to what they can already get somewhere else. This will also help you clarify for yourself exactly what distinguishes what you’re offering from the similar offerings of other businesses.

3. Who is your target market?

The better you know your potential customer, the better you’ll be able to cater your business to their needs and the more able you’ll be to sell them on your products and services. The sooner you figure this information out, the less time you’ll waste to trial and error. What is their income bracket? What is their household composition? Are they single or married? Do they have kids? How educated? How affluent? How old? What are their other interests? Where do they go to find the things they want or need?

4. Who is your competition?

Who else is offering similar products or services you are? How much competition do you have targeting your market area already? What makes your home based business different from theirs? What can you learn from your competitions successes and failures? How can you emulate what they’re doing and improve upon it? How loyal are their customers? Could you interest their customers in switching loyalties to your home business? How can you interest a niche in the market they’re not reaching yet? In short, knowing who you’re competing against will help you greatly in figuring out how your home business will stay competitive.

5. How do you plan to fund your home business?

Where is your home business start-up capital going to come from? Even with an online home business some amount of start up money is needed to get it going, and it’s better to know ahead of time how you’re going to acquire that capital. Will it come from savings, from credit cards, from a business loan, from a gift or a donation from a family member? Figure this out now and save yourself a lot of headaches later.

One more question you might also want to ask yourself is where you see your home based business in one year’s time? You need to have a vision of where you want to go with your business!

Answering all of these questions will greatly increase your chances of starting your home based business off on the right foot and building it into a highly profitable long term success.
